For the longest time I wanted to do a photo shoot that represents Harlem, where I'm from and girls in the hood. I told my gurl Jamie my vision and she agreed to do it. Jamie is an aspiring model originally from the south. She is sweet and bubbly unlike the character I wanted her to portray. I pinned some weave tracks on her hair, put some timbs on her feet, bamboo door knockers and a galaxy print sweater dress. I told her to think about being someones baby momma and calling up a trick or some dude for money. I told her to do certain hand gestures and movements and to get really angry. After I uploaded the pictures I realized that one simply wouldn't be able to capture the emotion behind the story.
